Welcome to the home of RASA,
the place for all the latest information regarding the Richland Area Softball Association.
RASA offers softball at a variety of levels,
with teams appropriate for girls from ages 5 through 24.
Thank you to All Heart Softball Academy for hosting an end of the Fall Fielding Clinic for girls ages 8-12 on November 8th. 24 girls attended with the focus on footwork, fundamentals and small details they can keep working at home. Great job to all the girls that attended!!
We missed an opportunity to get a group photo, but last night RASA finished its Summer Softball League. We had a total of over 40 girls (ages 8-12) attend at least one or more of the 8 weeks. Each week the girls spent time perfecting different softball skills and then played a pickup sandlot style game. Thank you to our coaches from the PA Panthers and Quakertown High School teams (Dave Scott, Eric Medlin, Mary Cate Clancy, Kristina Jones, Nisha Marshall, Kim Haberle) and especially thank you to the girls for participating!!

A tremendous thank you to Instructor Mary Cate Clancy for running our Indoor Pitching Clinics. 16 girls registered between two sessions. Also thank you to coach Erika Bowman as well as Quakertown High School student athletes Sydney Andrews and Maya Hellyer (both former RASA softball players).
RASA has instituted the following background check procedure for all adults volunteering as coaches, assistant coaches, and for any activity that requires direct and routine contact with children participating in a RASA activity.
The following three (3) items are required for all RASA volunteers:
3) A copy of your Driver’s License showing your current address (must match the address on both of your background checks)
The online background checks are currently offered online for free. Criminal History and Child Abuse records are considered valid for 5 years. However, copies of all three (3) of these forms will need to be provided to RASA once a year. All volunteers must submit the three (3) documents before any RASA activities commence.
Please send the forms to RASA... Email:

Thank you for your support as we all look forward to another safe and fun softball season
Updating and reviewing your RASA contact information
Every spring season, we have receive numerous email requests to update contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers - the RASA website has functionality to let you do this yourself. It may not be a bad idea just to log in and review the information that is available, as there are several options you may not know about, such as text message functionality to your cell phone (how nice would that be when a game is canceled at the last minute?).
To check or update your personal information, simply:
Enter your email address and password and click "Submit"
If you forgot your password or never had one due to registering in person, simply enter just the email address you provided when you registered and click "Submit" - the system will send you your password via email.
