To guide an assist our youth in their pursuit of personal growth and the meaning of sportsmanship through athletic excellence that will improve the lives of all that are involved
RASA is the Richland Area Softball Association - Richland Township's premier organized Girls Softball Program, offering softball at a variety of levels. We exist... so that girls can have the opportunity to play softball, within a program that strives to excell, for the betterment of sport, the community, and more.
Prior to 2005, the Richland/Quakertown/Milford Township areas lacked a softball association, organized league, and home fields. Because of this, hundreds of ambitious, competitive, and talented young girls ages 5 to 18 with a desire to challenge themselves through organized softball lacked an outlet to fulfill their dreams. Throughout most of 2004, a dedicated group of volunteers got together to form the Richland Area Softball Association (RASA). In the spring of 2005, RASA "got game" and held its first season, supporting five divisions of play, and fulfilling the dreams of over 250 girls by offering them the opportunity to participate in an organized fast pitch softball program.
RASA is a non-governmental and non-profit 501c qualified organization located in Richland Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The association is financed through membership fees and private sector sponsorship. RASA’s Board Members and coaching staff consist of men and women who volunteer their time and skills in the interest of girl’s and young women’s softball. It is the intent of these dedicated volunteers to develop a championship girl’s softball program within a geographic region that already boasts some of the best youth sporting programs in Eastern Pennsylvania.
