What is Fall Ball? RASA Fall Ball is a developmental program designed to further develop players and provide another option for those who chose not to play other fall sports. This is very helpful for girls who will be moving up to the next division for the Spring season (based on their age).
What are the age requirements? Girls must be at least 5 and no more than 19 years old by Dec 31st of the current year. All players will be automatically placed in the appropriate division based on their age as of Dec 31st.
What are the age breakdowns for each division?
For Fall Ball, girls will be placed in division shown below based on their age as of December 31.
Can I request my child "play up" in a higher division? To ensure the safety of all players, we will not accept all requests to "play up" in a higher division than allowed based on age. For the Fall, Girls should play in the level they will be playing in the upcoming spring season.
How long is the Fall Ball season?
Fall Ball runs from early September through late October. Practice nights are twice per week (weeknights) for all divisions at Veteran's Park. Rookies, Minors & Majors will play games on Saturday at North Penn's Schweiker Park.
